The occupation of Solar Photovoltaic Installers (COR code 741103) is a specialization of the personnel working as construction electricians and which requires a prior electrician qualification in order to be practiced. Based on the competences developed within the initial training system in the field of electrical engineering and considering the similarities to other occupations from the same core group with reference to the activities performed at work by respective specialists.

This course will allow the participants to acquire theoretical knowledge and practical skills about:
- understanding of electrical diagrams;
- use of electrotechnical materials;
- generation and distribution of electricity from renewable sources;
- production of energy from renewable sources;
- conversion of solar energy into electrical and thermal energy;
- operative monitoring of power and thermal power plants;
- power plant supervision.
